Going back to work

Well I am moving into a new classroom in a new school this year and I must say it is DAUNTING to say the least. I am SO overwhelmed. My room is a total disaster area-- there is probably not 3 square feet to walk in without clutter. There are boxes EVERYWHERE, junk out everywhere, and I don't even know where to start-- and I've already spent about 10 hours in there!!
I'm fighting the urge to just scream and cry. There is just SO much to do to get moved into the room, and I haven't even had time to start on lesson planning or paperwork or talking to parents.

AGH!

So what am I going to do about it? Pray over and over again for strength, for one thing. Also, since I hurt my back really badly yesterday (moving heavy boxes and furniture) I am going to get a massage TOMORROW.... oh the GLORY of it...for 90 minutes. I have a great lady named Maggie who takes care of all my aching muscles for me. Then I am going to get a haircut so I look all spiffy for school. Teachers go back on MONDAY. Heaven help me, I don't know how I'm going to handle all this. PLEASE pray for me! And if anyone knows anyone with nothing to do, I sure could use some help getting my classroom ready.

So here is my happy thought for the day: MINI CUPCAKES-- http://bakerella.blogspot.com/search?q=pops These are SO CUTE! Just looking at them might make you happy. ;)

OMG-mini cupcakes=awesome!

and you know, my personal opinion is that it's not the worst thing in the world to scream and cry if you get overwhelmed. it helps get the emotions out and gain perspective.

I'll help-don't worry-we'll get through it.
